About the Foundation
The Gbemileke Education Foundation Scholarship Fund exists to turn educational potential into opportunity for young people facing the loss of one or both parents.
To empower and inspire young people who have lost one or both parents by opening pathways to university education in Nigeria.
To mobilize and facilitate support through partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders who believe education can change life outcomes.
To support deserving students who have completed senior secondary school and aspire to study at a public university in Nigeria.
Who Can Apply
Must have lost one or both parents.
Must have graduated with at least six credits, including English Language and Mathematics.
Must meet the relevant JAMB requirements and have secured admission into a public university in Nigeria.
Successful recipients should be willing to attend GEF scholarship orientation activities.
Information and supporting documents must be truthful and capable of verification.
Returning recipients may be required to provide current academic results to maintain scholarship support.
Application Process
Register with an accessible email address. Your account remains pending until approved by the GEF Host.
Provide personal, educational, financial and family information carefully.
Provide your WAEC/SSCE, JAMB, admission and recommendation documents where applicable.
You will receive a unique application reference immediately after successful submission.
The GEF Host reviews applications, supporting documents and scholarship requirements.
Approved recipients can be tracked from entry level through final year with academic and financial records.
